| The Olympics started today. I didn't watch it, but my dad told me that it was pretty much just the countries marching. Props to VintageTorrie and Evil-Lee-666 for dealing with all the crap and taxes that they had to go through for being in the UK, which is where the Olympics are, if you didn't know.

| I never watched the Olympics. I'm not at all interested in sports. I'm sick of having it all shoved in my face just because it's in London. | |

| I watched the opening Ceremony for 2 reasons:
1 Mr Danny Boyle had the task of creating the Ceremony (Which I feel was AMAZING) 2 I am Patriotic to the core

That reminds me of the Super Bowl so much. I hate football with a passion, and the only sport I actually don't go into a coma when my parents make me watch it is basketball. The Super Bowl hype starts in January, a whole month before it starts. Every person in the United States with a Y chromosome is expected to follow all football games very closely. And when the Super Bowl comes down, you're expected to know the names of the players on the two teams and which one is your favorite. The only good part about the Super Bowl is the ads, and those stop being funny after halftime. I feel your pain, man.

| The only sport I kind of like is basketball. And that's mainly because of NBA Hangtime for N64 | |

| I just realized something. I haven't seen America compete in the Olympics and lose more than a few times. This is suspicious. I seriously doubt America wins every single event we go to. And what's even more suspicious is that you can see other events in the camera frame sometimes. And sometimes they only show a few countries competing in some sports, such as gymnastics. And I'm positive that America, Russia, Romania, and China aren't the only countries in women's gymnastics. So I think NBC(The news channel that broadcasts the Olympics in the USA) is intentionally only broadcasting the events that we win to improve the country's morale. I don't know. Do your countries' news stations tend to broadcast the events your country wins? I just want to know that it's not just an American thing. | |

| Britain's doing very well in the Olympics, but I assume they'll do the same, especially since it's in London. | |
