So, to pass the time while being forced to watch a movie I'd already seen, I went over to the family bookshelf and picked up a book at random. I got this pretty peculiar one called Halloween and Satanism. Written by an evangelist, I knew this had to be good. So, I started reading it. I'll reply to this blog whenever I find something totally absurd about the book.

So on page 17, there's an excellent piece of writing I'd like to share with you all.

"Yet, today witchcraft has gained acceptability by many people. Even the Internal Revenue Service has given tax exempt status to...

This isn't really a legitimate blog, but I just wanted to get this out there. There's been three guests from California that are frequently visiting our site, one specifically. I don't mean to be stalker or anything, but please, join! A forum isn't the kind of thing you can just watch go on from the sidelines. All of us here would love to have any of you join our little community. We put the fun in dysfunctional. The great thing about the internet is that you can meet a lot of interesting people, and learn many new things. I don't mean to be stalker, it just comes naturally to me.

Finally got to see my sister today. Man, it's been absolutely amazing finding out about her life after all these years. We walked my dog around the Loch just talking to each other about our lives, and how special it is to meet up again. She brought her son along, who is also now my nephew :3

She had to give him medicine a couple times, he's just starting to get his teeth in. Surprisingly, my dog was quite calm with the kid, I thought he would get worked up, but no, he was tolerant and behaved well (the dog).

After we walked the dog, we went to a restaurant and grabbed a bite...

Finally found an alternative to Project Diva. It's called Stepmania, and it's been ported to PC, and it does essentially the same thing as Project Diva. Any song can be used for it though (I've just put on a lot of vocaloid for now). Anyway, here are the required links:

Stepmania Download (choose StepMania-3.9.exe)

If you've been using uTorrent to download for a while you may have found yourself receiving lots of wasted data. This is data that has been discarded after being deemed corrupt or invalid by uTorrent.

This usually happens because Anti-P2P organizations are polluting P2P networks with fake peers, which send out fake or corrupt data in order to waste bandwidth and slow down file transfers. There is also a a more serious side to this, once you've established a connection to one of these fake "peers", your IP has been logged and will most likely be sent to the RIAA, MPAA or your...

Ever since the arrest last week of Pirate Bay co-founder Gottfrid Svartholm, there has been the usual speculation of who in the United States or Sweden ‘paid off’ Cambodia to make the move. Of course, with no supporting evidence claims that such a deal exists can be brushed off as pure fantasy. But today, in another one of those unusual political coincidences, Cambodian officials announced the “strengthening of bilateral ties” with Sweden – along with a $59 million aid package sweetener.

Following his arrest last Thursday it was confirmed yesterday that Pirate Bay Gottfrid...

Two news stories for you today, so I'll just put quick summaries instead.

Dutch Pirate Party Ready To Enter National Parliament

Next week the Dutch will elect their national parliament for the coming four years, and for the second time the local Pirate Party is on the ballot. According to most polls the Pirates have a decent chance of securing at least one seat, a milestone for the movement as it would be the first democratically chosen Pirate in a national parliament. One of the main goals of the Pirates is to fight increased censorship and the growing...

After being tipped off by the MPAA the feds arrested four members of the prominent BitTorrent release group IMAGiNE earlier this year, all of which have now plead guilty. Jeramiah Perkins of Portsmouth was the last to admit to copyright infringement charges this week. Along with his co-defendants from the now-defunct piracy release group, Perkins faces up to 5 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.

Last September IMAGiNE stopped distributing new films. As it was one of the Internet’s leading BitTorrent release groups the hiatus sparked speculation that the authorities were...

Oracle has issued a patch for loopholes in its Java program that was being actively abused by cyber-thieves.

The software giant took the unusual step of issuing the patch well before the usual date for security updates.

The patch closes loopholes that together left users of almost every operating system vulnerable to infection by viruses.

Tens of thousands of machines are believed to have been infected by viruses that exploit the bugs.

Oracle typically issues security patches for Java every quarter but it tore up the usual schedule because the...

The Pirate Bay, which is the most popular file-sharing website on the Internet, was shut down for part of the day on Wednesday. The site shut down in response to a DDoS attack.

The Pirate Bay was not available for several hours after the system shut itself down to improve its internal system, in order to fight a distributed denial of service (DDoS) attack. While this was apparently a temporary problem, Digital Journal cannot access the website this morning, which means that the attack is possibly continuing.

According to TorrentFreak, "The Pirate Bay team [said]...

I'm starting making a Higurashi compilation video. It's going to be the first video I've made of this type, so it won't be brilliant. This is the song I will use for it.

If you have any scenes you think I should put in then tell me, although I have an idea of what I'll put in.

Most of you probably already know about this anyway, but I thought I would share it with you.

It's a freeware, survival-horror game, based on the Slender-Man Creepypasta story. In the game, you need to collect 8 pages, each related to Slender-Man, without him catching you. With every page you collect, he 'chases' after you quicker. It is set at night, with only a flashlight accompanying you. Obviously, it only has a limited charge. You also cannot pause the game, which in my opinion, is quite harsh. Anyway, links below, and have fun (or not

Insomnia is the worst of curses. Truly. There's nothing like lying in your bed, awake, for 6 hours, having to be totally silent for fear of not waking your family members. And I'm not talking about just not wanting to sleep. I'm talking about not being able to sleep. I'll explain the story in full detail.
Last night, Me and my fellow male members of my family celebrated the womenfolk being out of the house for the night by watching Iron Man 2 and Bowfinger, and eating plenty of pizza, chips, and pop. We ended the movie night at 11, and each of us headed of to our caves....
